BPMS Implementation 101: Project planning and implementation methodologies
Featuring: Mark Treat, Frequent Contributor BPMInstitute.org & Executive Member, ABPMP.org
This break out session provides an overview of the BPM Institute’s new upcoming course: BPMS implementation 101: Project planning and implementation methodologies
BPMS Implementation 101 is a fast paced, comprehensive overview of how to successfully plan and implement integrated business process management technology suites. While many of the professional management practices of BPM are covered, this course provides a unique project implementation perspective. Topics such as modeling, analysis and design are covered as they relate to the planning, execution and control of BPMS implementation projects. The pros and cons of various delivery approaches and methodologies are discussed, along with cost, schedule and resource estimating. While the course covers many analytical and technical topics, it is also very practical – providing a value driven business perspective for all of the project work. Throughout the program particular attention is paid to unique considerations for implementing BPMS technologies, along with project and organizational change management requirements. The course is designed to be highly participative, where attendees and instructor share lessons learned, best practices and overcoming project challenges.
